Penguin

it's a picture of a penguin Oh to be a penguin,
And sail the seven seas
In search of traction engines
To extract one’s aural fleas.

Oh to be a penguin
And navigate the skies

In agony unending

From too many mutton pies.

Oh to be a penguin
And stroll among the stars
With an aggravated tendon
And one’s head inside a vase.

Oh, to be a penguin
Is a miserable lot,
Which is why I’m recommending
You be pleased with what you’ve got.
