RAF KUALA LUMPUR
656 SQUADRON LIGHT AIRCRAFT WORKSHOP
In 1958 as the influx of REME aircraft tradesmen gradually increased, many RAF airmen were posted from the numerous flights along the length of Malaya back to 656 Squadrons second line servicing facility at RAF Kuala Lumpur. Only a few weeks were spent there before they were posted from what was now the Army Air Corps back to their normal RAF units.    
RAF kuala Lumpur was also Malaya's international airport at that time and a selection of visiting civil aircraft is depicted below.
