THE GRAVE YARD
The magnificent Sunderlands were eventually placed on this area of scrub land between "F" block and the swamp. It was hoped that one aircraft would be flown home to a museum, but that was not to be and here one by one they were dismantled and cut up for scrap by local contractors.
