Thursday saw the start of the rally with the weather being kind, dry and warm. The welcome meeting was held in the rec. room on site, as were the coffee mornings.
Friday saw the last of the 20 vans arriving and we were off to the Thursford Show- a spectacular not to be missed, with a huge cast ranging from comedian, choir, orchestra, and of course magnificent dancing girls. A great time was had by all.
Saturday night was Quiz night - one of Keith’s picture quizzes which taxed us all- but great fun! And of course there were also the puddings which included pavlovas, bakewell, fruit salad (thanks Sylvia) and trifle.
Sunday it turned colder. But at coffee morning we had Mary’s raffle and the answers to Kate’s quiz, won by Brenda and Alan Barnes. Monday night was the meal- held in the restaurant on site. Once again a good time was had by all.
Then, all too quickly it was Tuesday and time to pack up and say our goodbyes.
Congratulations to Sylvia and Keith for another great themed rally, and of course thanks to Jackie and Dave, as their helpers.
