This was Lorna and Pat Veitch's first time at running a rally. They were assisted by Christine and David Kenyon. 14 caravans attended overall and with them came some new faces.
The weather was mixed, mostly dry and warm but just the odd shower thrown in. Val Upton was 'Mary' and the raffle raised £44. We had a meal on Sunday lunchtime instead of Monday, at the restaurant on the site. In the evenings we had 'get togethers' in the marquee.
It was Christine and Davids 45th wedding anniversary and as she lived nearby she popped home to make a cake and we joined them in their celebration on Sunday evening. It was a lovely easy going rally.
