A lovely site marred only by a fairly dangerous exit onto the dual carriageway and the number of site rules posted everywhere. This beautiful part of South Devon was at its best at this time of year with warm sunshine throughout the rally and many an evening was spent chatting under the gazebo.
Most of us did the round robin trip - Steam Train, Foot Ferry, Dart Cruise
and home on the Open Topped Bus, it was wonderful.
Ron's quiz based on all the participants' surnames proved such a hit that there had to be a draw to decide the winners: Pat and Lorna's name was pulled from the hat. The much more difficult picture quiz "name the TV programme" proved frustrating until you knew the answers and was won by Peter and Kathleen Beauchamp - well done!
We all enjoyed the visit to Paignton Zoo on Monday evening and the excellent meal we had in their restaurant afterwards.
