Bantam Big ends
This picture shows an original big end assembly (left) along
side the new replacement (right).
Note the difference in the width of the bearing, when compared to the standard fitment.
This picture shows the wear on the flywheel recesses. these are machined to accommodate the wider crankpin thus removing this damage. This engine was rebuilt with this big end conversion and one of our electronic ignition systems and successfully completed the Pre 65 Scottish two day trial.
