A 5 mile trail run for a summers evening. Start and finish at Barbury Castle Country Park which can be found to the south west of Chiseldon. From Junction 15 on the M4 take the A346 to Marlborough until you see the signs for Chiseldon, and then follow the road signs to Barbury Castle.
The race is a scenic, undulating, one lap route of the trails and footpaths around the ancient Iron Age Hillfort of Barbury Castle, touching on the Ridgeway National Trail. Some quite tough hills in places but with equally satisfying descents! The route will be well marked and marshalled and water will be provided at approx half way and at the finish.

Please note there is no changing area or baggage so please arrive ready changed. Race numbers should be pinned to your front to aid our finish line Timekeepers. Results will be available within 48 hours on this website or pay 50p for postal results. There will be prizes for the 1st three men and 1st three ladies and Veteran prizes for MV40, M50 & M60 and V35, V45 & V55 Prize for 1st Male and 1st Female team (three to count). We also have a special prize for 'The King and Queen of the Hill. This will be awarded to the first man & first lady to reach the point on the course opposite the cafe from the start, approx 800 metres of steep climb!
