VE Day and Return of Charlotteville POW's

Friday 8th May 2020 was a national Bank Holiday to remember the 75th Anniversary of VE Day. The Covid-19 Pandemic stopped the planned celebrations but houses in Charlotteville put out flags and bunting to remember friends, relatives and those that once lived in these houses who were finally released from Wartime restrictions.
Amidst the celebrations in 1945 the prisoners-of-war began to return to their loved ones. Addison road welcomed back Ron Bullen, a prisoner-of-war for five years. His story is detailed in the pdf below
