The equipment featured is for control of an air compressor,
required for engine starting. Power is from a 3 phase genset.
The 'Bottle' fuses are standard equipment in Europe- these examples were
unmarked. The switchgear is potentially a problem because, if left in
the on position, the motor will start up when the genset is started- possibly
catching people, and nearby objects, unawares. Motor control equipment
should automatically 'lock-out' the motor when power is applied, until
the operator presses the start button.
Mains socket outlets are run from the same source, but there is no earth
leakage protection in this all-steel engine room.
