URL:- www.RNPA.infov and www.rnpa.info/forum is now up and running and has had a very good response.

A raw file of the newsletter is to be sent to Paul Cowpe to allow a PDF download.

Members are to be encouraged onto RNPA Website support@rnpa.info  e-mail addresses available through Paul Cowpe.

Danny DuFeu will provide a Members Application and Standing Order proforma which will allow it to be placed on the Website.

Members Database

This was discussed and it was reported that the list of members is healthily growing.  The Website will help to promulgate contacts leading to subscriptions being paid automatically.  A flyer will be available at the AGM which will help with recruiting members and advertise the website.

Access to names of members will be available on the RNPA Website as a read only file. 

It was decided, widows will be offered honorary membership.

Recruiting Members

Work will continue to recruit new members through the new database and website. 

A tick-box will be added to the forms sent out to members,  this will request permission to use names and e-mail addresses.

Recruiting Serving Members:-  A letter requesting all potential members to join will be sent out. An application form for non-paying members will be designed.  A link will be added on facebook to encourage serving members to join.

Forthcoming Events

An informal dinner and tour held onboard HMS Victory was a great success.

It was decided to investigate the interest for Country–wide events through the Newsletter and Website.

Locations and dates are still being investigated for the 90^th Anniversary Ball in 2011. Details will be posted on the Website and published in the Newsletter.

The AGM and social event at Victory Club HMS Nelson on

31 Oct has been booked and publicised in the Newsletter and Website.

The possibility of Association visits to Ships AND Photographic Sections was discussed and PR Dept MMB London will be approached.

It was planned to organise a visit to DPRN and a visit to the Imperial War Museum – possibly a London Weekend.

Inclusion for a March-past on Remembrance Sunday 2010 was discussed and will be raised at the AGM.

Ray Whitehouse reported to the committee that the New Fleet Air Arm Memorial had been dedicated and unveiled the previous week at the National Arboretum near Lichfield in Staffordshire and that he had photographs etc., for insertion in the forth coming newsletter.

He is continuing to investigate the possibility of the RNPA  having a plaque placed on the memorial stone.

Committee

Notifications for President votes was discussed. Nominations to Lesley Wenden 21 Days before.

Committee will define roles at the AGM and re-election of committee members will be three years

Vacancies are Chairman and Secretary.

Regional Photographic Units (RPC’s) Senior Rates may be approached to become Area Reps ,

Treasurers Report

Lt Moss reported on the accounts.

Expenses were discussed and agreed at 25p per mile and actual cost train tickets.

Lt Moss raised the issue of the deficit between the number of members and the subs paid. Danny DeFeu will compile a list of those who pay and liaise with Lt Cowpe and Lt Moss to approach those not paying.

Website restrictions will follow for those that haven’t paid their subs.

Input is required from many sources. Old Stories, Day in the life State of Nation etc.

Copyright issues will be looked into.
