Fondly regarded as one of the best messes to be accommodated in by RNAS Lossiemouth-based photographers, 26 Mess (Miscellaneous) contained writers, sick-bay staff, SAR aircrew, seamen and safety equipment ratings. Among the photographers pictured are Bill McRobbie, Alfie Tubb, Brian Lowe and Ian Paterson.
