Remarks/People Involved. Group taken at RNAS Cowdray Park in front of Walrus aircraft. 

Front Row. Kneeling, Vic Newnham RM (Driver);  seated CPO William Crofts (Medical Officer), Unknown, Unknown, Unknown, Lt Cdr Albert E Rose RN (CO), Lt John Moffat RNVR (Officer in Charge of the Flying), Unknown; seated Roy Udders RM (Driver), Unknown. Certainly the four seated 'Unknowns' are not from Cowdray Park - John Moffat told me they were from the photographic section.

Historians Note. John Moffat went on to be the last aircraft in the sinking of the Bismark. Cowdray Park was used for photoraphic air training for about six months during the build up to D Day as Ford was so busy
