Peter Webb talked about self sufficiency on a small holding. The talk, which was titled The Good Life, was based on many years experience. It was a very interesting talk.

We saw an episode of the Danish TV show: Matador. Peter & Ann had kindly arranged this in their home and treated us with drinks and other treats. A very pleasant evening.

We were invited to take part in ‘St Hans Aften’ bonfire celebration organised by Danfolk in Norfolk. Not many of our members attended but those who did had a splendid evening with roast pig and strawberries. See photos.

AGM. Last meeting at Mark’s Tey. As the membership has shrunk with only few attending regularly it was decided not to continue hiring the Hall at Marks Tey. Instead we would arrange meetings in private houses. Ideas of visiting Ingatestone Hall, Alton Waters were suggested but not followed up. Other events as shown under future events were agreed.
