What’s New:
Meetings are normally held the second Monday of each month (except August and January) at 8 p.m. In addition, meetings are arranged on special occasions, especially at Christmas, where members join up to celebrate Christmas  in the Danish tradition. Outings are also arranged when sufficient interest is shown.

Our club was set up in 1991 with a small group of people, mainly from Harwich many of whom were part of  DFDS workforce. Over the years the club has expanded to include Danish as well as English members who are associated with Danes or who have just taken an interest in Danish culture.

Hit counter:
Membership is £5.00 per year per person or £10.00 for a family. The fee for a meeting is £1 per head. Normally coffee and tea with cakes are served for 20p per person (may be revised) - please remember to bring a cup. Club members take it in turn to make (or provide) cakes - and some of them are really delicious!

The meeting venue:  Last year we had our meetings in the Village Hall in Marks Tey.  See map. However, since attendance rates have been low we have had meetings in Peter’s and Ann’s Home. The Christmas event this year may be held in Marks Tey.  For other events see the Future Events page or contact a committee member.
