David Glauser, david.glauser@xpsystems.com , has provided five pictures (see below) of bubble window panels in (apparently) standard door frames. These provide extra headroom for the longer wheelbase pilot and a somewhat improved view (see messages in early June 2002).
[ I understand that these have been produced as a non-factory venture by a US company and that no a/c so fitted has yet flown, though they have been shown at the US shows. Subject to satisfactory flight trials, the factory may be prepared to cooperate in the supply of these to non-US builders in due course and builders with particular headroom problems might like to approach the factory or their local distributor in this regard. - JFC ]
