This is a collection of modification
suggestions, mainly contributed by individual builders. (There are other mod
descriptions scattered through this site as well). They are intended as ideas
for other builders and as always (please see the note on the Top Level Page of
this site) you, the builder of an individual Europa, must satisfy yourself that
a modification is both safe and legal in your country before you embark upon
it
How Henk and Bart made their own tailwheel mounting, see here (a link to their site). They report that it eliminates any ground handling problems and that changing the tailwheel is much easier.

A way to put the selector handle atop the tunnel, see here.
Ferg Kyle has developed a scheme for doors and latches for the storage bins in the aircraft, in the headrests and beneath the seats. The purpose is to restrain the contents of the bins from getting up and walking about the cockpit at inopportune moments. The doors are removable and the intention is that it should be possible to remove and to replace the doors without having to look or concentrate closely on that task.
Variations to local taste are clearly possible. Ferg's recipe is here
The Europa Club has some modifications of its own, for details see here
