Traditionaly produced quality beef from Cratfield
Cratfield Beef is produced from traditional breeds of cattle
which are raised in the natural way on the family farm in
north Suffolk. The cattle spend the summer months grazing around Cratfield village and during the winter months they are housed inside in large straw bedded yards. They are fed silage which is produced from locally grown grass.
The cattle go direct to a local abattoir and are matured at the butchers in the traditional way giving them that extra special flavour. The beef is cut and packed to our requirements.
A large selection of beef is readily available which includes joints, fillet, sirloin, rump, braising and stewing steak, skirt, shin, mince and burgers.
Fresh beef is available at the following monthly farmers markets: Halesworth 2nd Saturday, Alder Carr, Needham Market 3rd Saturday and Easton 4th Saturday.
