Thymus caespititius


Brotero (1804).

Dwarf shrub with  prostrate stems.  Narrow, pale green, sticky, pine resin or turpentine scented leaves.  Pale shell pink flowers.

Native of Spain and Portugal.

Marginally hardy.  Dislikes winter wet.  Grow in a pot and overwinter in frost-free greenhouse.
