to the area...
Welcome. In this page we provide information about gardening in the
area to help you get started quickly ... and other local information too! |
The climate here is typical of the Welsh Borders with a late start to Spring
balanced by a late end to Autumn. The soil is good fertile boulder clay. which
provides excellent conditions for growing most types of plants
We have listed below the types of plants which flourish in the area, and some that do not like our climate and soil conditions. When you visit us at the nursery please tell our staff that you are new to the area and ask their advice on the plants for your garden. You can also email Simon at the address at the bottom with any specific queries or worries that you have. |
