Twice a month lunches are cooked and served to elderly, lonely, housebound or disabled guests at Liston Hall.

These delicious lunches are cooked on site by teams of five to six volunteers. The guests are invited by two hostesses who arrange transport, if required, by a willing team of drivers who collect and return their passengers.

The guests are greeted by the hostesses and offered sherry or fruit juice prior to their three course lunch, which is served with wine. After lunch the guests are entertained by a speaker, slide show or other form of entertainment.

Once a year a Tea is organised when it is possible to cater for a larger number of guests.

No charge is made for the lunches etc., the cost being met by generous donations and the one fund raising event of the year --- the October Shop.
