Individual Note:
     The following from "Notorious Men of Anglesey" by Richard Parry, first written 1872.

Nicholas Treweek Esq. was another son of James Treweek born 1804. Early in his life, he started as a timber merchant at Amlwch Port. In a short time, he became the owner of many ships, some of which were large at that time. He also built ships, and engaged many ship's carpenters, always in his employment. He was highly respected, warm hearted and generous.
