Conor's Hike 2012 - The 30K Wiltshire Challenge

Conor's Hike has taken over from Conor's Cup as the main fund raising event held each year, to allow for our ageing limbs and the rising long term injury list! And now the kids can join in too with Conor's Kids Hike!

Conor's Hike was launched in 2010 by Conor's aunts, Gerry and Deb, who hiked the 84 miles of the Ridgeway, raising over £1300.

Each year a new challenging route is selected for Conor's hike. This year, in response to requests for something more local so people can join in easily, we've selected a challenging 30K circular route from Marlborough over the Wiltshire hills and downs, taking in some of the local ancient monuments that abound in this region. And its all got to be done in under 12 hours.

A small team of fundraisers will be taking on the challenge, and we need your help! Please spur us on by sponsoring us with whatever amount you can afford, no matter how small! Simply click on the link below.

The start point for the hike will be the grassy area outside Marlborough cemetery and we will finish back at the Roebuck, to allow for replacement of any lost fluids. We will confirm start time and other details nearer the day to all those who have registered.

Family Friendly 12K Hike!

Conor's Family Hike will take place on the same day this year, covering the last 12K of the full route (starting at Barbury Castle) so everyone finishes together.

Conor's brothers Liam and Niall will be leading the way again, possibly joined by little Paddy this year, so please give the boys your support by sponsoring them via the link below.
