Based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, this enthusiastic and highly versatile vocal ensemble was founded in 1993. It pursues a mainly a cappella tradition and is equally at home in renaissance polyphony, baroque oratorio as well as the lighter and more modern repertoire.
Quorum has performed in many churches/cathedrals and other venues in the South East of England including St Martin-in-the-Fields, London, and Chartres and Laon Cathedrals in France.
The choir has been involved in a number of charitable concerts and has recorded a CD in aid of Hospice in the Weald entitled Beside Still Waters. The choir regularly sings Evensong from the Book of Common Prayer at its home base of King Charles the Martyr, Tunbridge Wells.
Quorum may be booked for weddings, christenings, funerals, receptions, events, recitals and concerts.
The choir welcomes approaches for audition from experienced singers and currently has vacancies for 2 tenors, 1 bass and 1 soprano.
