Meetings (Get-Togethers)
South Eastern Area Meetings
These meetings were initiated by the late John Cook in the 1980s,
and always proved popular. When the small church hall at Hook became
cramped, a move was made to use the clubhouse of the Surrey SME
clubhouse at Mill Lane, Leatherhead, Surrey.
Following John's death, Simon Clough has been arranging meetings.
In 2009, a new venue was used - at St Marks Church hall, Surbiton.
Bring a loco, or bits and pieces. If you have a problem, ask the 'expert' !
Midland Area Meetings
In 2007, Brian Butler organised a meeting in Birmingham, and it proved very successful.
The 2008 meeting was also well received and future meetings will continue at
St Francis Church Hall, Sycamore Road, Bourneville, Birmingham B30 1JR
- it is adjacent to Cadbury World
which is well signposted around Birmingham.
The meeting begins at 11am and finishes at 3pm.
Bring your own lunch, but tea and/or coffee will be available.
