Sculptress Natasha Herman from North London combines artistic flair and talent with a longstanding love for animals, having worked with and owned horses, cats and dogs for many years.

Natasha made her first clay sculpture at the age of eight. Since then, whilst remaining largely self-taught, she has surprised and delighted many people with her work. Although concentrating mainly on horses she also produces replicas of cats, dogs and other pets, posing alone or in an everlasting moment with human friends.

Natasha is particularly skilled at capturing the character of the subjects of her sculptures. She does this through photographs and by asking people to tell her in their own words what the subject means to them. The result might be a humorous gathering of dogs with their owners, feline siblings in reflective mood or a horse and rider in action.

Whatever your choice, your model will be a personalised, unique immortalisation of your cherished animals.

All of Natasha's models are individually made. They are then meticulously painted to show off their individual markings and colours before being satin or varnish glazed to ensure durability and high-quality finish.

Model sizes vary but are usually between 5" and 11" tall (13 to 28 cms). All prices and specifications are negotiable.

Natasha's sculptures make ideal birthday, Christmas and anniversary presents and they are also superb if you simply wish to treat yourself or a friend to a unique one-off gift.

Natasha is currently working full-time with animals and creates the petatures on a part-time basis. Therefore a waiting time of about a month is standard.
