All books offered ARE believed to be in stock (not always the case with many other
suppliers), and will normally be mailed within 48 hours by Royal Mail or courier
unless required sooner! (The only exception is newly expected titles where we rely
on publishers’ advice).
Except for current in-print, most books will be available only singly or in very
small numbers.
Generally we only stock and offer English-language texts, however one or two special
acquisitions are French-language (or other as stated). Some foreign-language texts
can also be acquired to special order.
Similarly, we do not normally stock WORKSHOP MANUALS (or Owners Manuals) at this
time - if you want available Manuals we will try to source them for you. BROCHURES
are another area of immense interest but complexity - initially we will only supply
much older volumes, but this may change as we evaluate your interests.
We try to be as accurate as possible with our descriptions, and will state whenever
known the ISBN of all books, date of issue and edition, and whether supplied with
or without dust-cover, and the general condition of a book and its cover - A is mint,
A- and B is slightly scuffed, age worn or light faded, C is age-related wear, scuffing,
or other slight damage described as accurately as possible - we do not normally stock
D or E grade, unless these have come from our own personal collection. Some rarer
older volumes may be ex-library and hence will show some over-stamping and general
wear. Occasionally, some books will have been personalised by the original owner
and all of this will be accurately stated.
