Map of the parish

 

Located in the Home County of Hertfordshire, due north of London, the parish lies between Potters Bar to the south and Hatfield to the north.  The two maps below cover most of the parish.

Transport links

 

Road. The parish is near the M1, M11, M25, and A1(M). 

 

Rail. The two railway stations at Brookmans Park and Welham Green give quick (about 25 minutes) access to Kings Cross, London and Potters Bar and Welwyn Garden City.  Potters Bar andv Welwyn Garden City stations can be used to change onto express trains to London, Stevenage and stations to Cambridge and Kings Lynn.  Times of trains are available on www.brookmans.com.

 

Airports.  Heathrow can be reached by car via the M25 in 40 minutes on a good day.  Luton and Stansted are about 40 minutes away by car.  Gatwick involves a car journey round the M25.  London City airport is in central London.  All airports can be reached by train but not on direct routes.

 

Ferries.  Because of the transport links, all sea ports are accessible by car or indirectly by train or coach from central London.
