Meeting dates

All meetings are open to the public.

Venue

Meetings are held at the Parish Council office and start at 8pm except the Finance Committee which starts at 7.15pm. To find the office, which is adjacent to the car park off Bushwood Close, visit www.streetmap.co.uk or www.multimaps.co.uk and enter the Post Code of our office which is AL9 7YZ.

Full council meetings

These are held on the last Wednesday of each month except August and December. There is an additional meeting on the first Wednesday in January (second if the first is New Year’s Day).

Dates are displayed on the Parish Council notice boards. The standard agenda is given below.

30 April 28 May (annual meeting) 25 June 30 July

Dates in 2009 are 7 and 28 January, 25 February, 25 March 29 April

27 May (Annual Meeting) 24 June 29 July 30 September

Dates in 2010 arranged so far 6 January 2010

Annual Public Meeting

This is usually held on the last Thursday in March starting at 8pm. The next one will be on Thursday 26 March 2009. The venue is the North Mymms Memorial Hall, Station Road, Welham Green. All are welcome to attend and hear about what the parish council has been doing on your behalf this last year. And ask questions of course.

Finance committee

This committee meets at 7.15pm immediately before the full council meetings, but not the Annual Public Meeting. The standard agenda is given below.

Amenities and building committee

This committee meets about once a month as required, starting at 8pm, and normally precedes a Planning Committee meeting. It is possible that there will be no meetings in August and December.

Planning committee

This committee meets about every three weeks on a Wednesday evening starting at 8pm or after an Amenities and Building Committee meeting. The month end meeting will be held after the full Council meeting.
