          a)  Charges for the Councils Facilities

The Clerk said that the North Mymms Football Club played two teams on the Welham Green Football Pitch for the annual season rate of £800 at the rate of one game per week over 20-22 weeks.  As the junior team recently booked for the season 2009-2010 would be playing 9-10 home games it was agreed that they would pay half the senior rate at a cost of £400 and this could be paid in instalments providing it was fully paid by the end of February 2010.

b)  Play Equipment

The Clerk said that she has been requesting estimates for the following play equipment and it was suggested that these should be referred to the next full council meeting for discussion:

·         2 extra pieces of play equipment at Little Heath, a toddler unit and cone climber

·         2 replacement pieces of play equipment at Welham Green, a toddler unit and toddler swings and

·         1 larger unit for juniors to replace the back swings, junior swings and igloo in Welham Green as these pieces were over 40 years old and corroded.

The Clerk said that she would be trying to obtain funding from various organisations against these costs when estimates had been obtained and approved.
