1. APOLOGIES

Apologies were received from Councillor P Hastings.

2. MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING

Minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 25 June 2008 were due to be presented to the council for approval and adoption at its next meeting on 30 July 2008, subject to the following amendment:

Page 1, Item 4, RVC and Cherry Dell, last line – and he would NOT be attending.

3. MATTERS ARISING

Councillor Horrocks said he would be attending the appeal hearing for Tanum Farm on 22/23 July 2008.

Councillor Mrs Race said she would be speaking to Mr Jefcoate as Biffa had been given three months to erect barriers and soundproofing and so far had done nothing, with the time limit for this work being up tomorrow.

A meeting had already been arranged for Wednesday 30 July 2008, following a full council meeting.
