            Minutes of the Planning Committee meetings held on 25 June and 9 July 2008 were adopted by the Council at their earlier meeting.

3.         MATTERS ARISING

 

Councillor Horrocks said he had attended one day of the appeal hearing for Tanum Farm on 22 July 2008.

New Planning Laws

 

It was agreed to write to Mr Conway at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council  asking if any guidance was available to us on how our role might be affected when the new planning law comes into operation later this year.

            A meeting had already been arranged for Wednesday 20 August 2008, following an Amenities Committee meeting.
