1.       APOLOGIES

         

          Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Mrs J Boulton, Mrs M Race and P Hastings.

 

2.       MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING

 

          Minutes of Planning Committee meetings held on 24 June 2009 were approved and due to be adopted by the Council at its next meeting.

 

3.       APPEALS

 

S6/2009/23  Unit 3, Woodside Lane, Bell Bar – The Planning Inspectorate confirmed that the enquiry would take place at 10 am on Tuesday 29 September 2009 in the Council Office, Campus East and that Councillor Horrocks was welcome to speak.

6.       ANY OTHER BUSINESS

 

a)  2 Bradmore Way –  The Parish Council had objected to this planning application and as Councillor Horrocks was unable to attend the WHBC Planning Control Meeting on Thursday 9 July 2009, he had drafted a short response which had been circulated to all Councillor for approval.

 

It was agreed that Councillor Peter Hastings would represent the Parish Council on this occasion and it was proposed and agreed that a vote of thanks be recorded to Councillor Horrocks for his preparation of the document.

 

b)  Rookery Café  -  It was agreed to write to WHBC regarding the car wash and Tai massage parlour to ask if either needs planning permission or permission for change of use and whether planning permission had been granted for the display of signs on the building.

 

It was also agreed to write to the Environmental Section regarding drainage from the car wash into the adjacent stream and whether the Tai massage parlour has the necessary certificates to operate.

 

7.       DATE OF NEXT MEETING

 

          A meeting has already been arranged for Wednesday 29 July 2009 following a meeting of the full Council which commences at 8pm.

 

 

NB      Councillor Mrs T Travell apologised in advance for her absence from the next meeting of the Planning Committee.
