29.  Apologies for absence

Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Horrocks (unwell), Wheeler (another meeting) and Hastings (another meeting).

30.  Declarations of interest

Councillors Everard declared a personal interest as a member of the North Mymms District Green Belt Society in agenda item 6 for all planning applications being considered that are in the Green Belt.

Councillor Storey declared a personal interest as a neighbour to 57 Holloways Lane Planning application reference 2011/1147.

31.  Minutes

The minutes of the meeting held on 15th June 2011 were approved as a true record and were signed by the Chairman.

North Mymms Parish Council comments that the development is out of keeping with the surroundings.

 

h.      Ref: 2011/1225  6-8 Dellsome Lane, Welham Green, demolition of old bakery and outbuildings, alterations to existing dwellings to include two storey side extension, first floor rear and single storey rear extensions to form 4 x two bed dwellings and erection of a two bed dwelling

North Mymms Parish Council object to the backland development of the bungalow, the main building to the front of the site is cramped and has an overbearing appearance to the front elevation.

North Mymms Parish Council comment that there does not appear to be a front elevation plan and there are discrepancies between the roof plan and the proposed plans and elevations so it is difficult to assess or comment on this planning application.
