TERMS OF REFERENCE –updated 25th

To oversee the
management and maintenance of the Council's land and buildings in conjunction
with the Clerk of the Council.

Review from time to time the activities of the three groundsmen jointly
with the Clerk and to make recommendations for improvement to work practice.

To monitor from
time to time with the Clerk the extent of clearance and ground maintenance of
its land holding and ensure that standards are being maintained.
4
To draw up and monitor a programme of decoration and maintenance to
buildings.
5
To present a
short report at full Council meetings on studies undertaken in order to gain
approval for the proposals to be carried out
6
To review from
time to time the use and enjoyment of the Council's recreational facilities and
bring forward recommendations for improvement and enlargement of facilities.
