Welcome to our website which was created in October 2005. It was last updated on 01 August 2008 with the approved minutes of the meetings to date. The next update is due on the Friday after the last Wednesday of the month. It includes the audited accounts to 31 March 2006 and 2007. (see Minutes of all meetings)

North Mymms is in Hertfordshire, with Potters Bar to the south, and Hatfield to the north. It includes the villages of Brookmans Park and Welham Green, the hamlets of Bell Bar and Water End, and part of Bullens Green and Little Heath. There are shopping parades and railway stations at Brookmans Park and Welham Green, and an industrial estate at Welham Green. The parish has good transport links (click on ‘Map’ on the side bar for details. North Mymms is classed as a large parish with a population of about 11,000.

Gobions Open Space

The strange sand-filled lines are the result of work to improve the drainage on this playing field. This should complete the work started in 2005.

Planning committee meeting dates

The parish council now has only three weeks in order to object or comment on planning applications. Consequently the dates of meetings have had to be revised from August 2008 onwards.. See link at side to the ‘Meeting dates’ page.
