Welcome to our website which was
created in October 2005. It was last updated on 03
February 2010 with the approved minutes of the meetings to
date. The next update is due in the
weekend after the last Wednesday of the month. This website includes the audited accounts
to 31 March 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. (see Minutes of all meetings) Our main villages have excellent
websites – see useful links - so we have confined
this website to just the activities of the parish council. We trust that you will find this site of
interest and we would appreciate any feedback via the Site information page. News items Staff sickness Due to staff sickness the office is closed on
most days for a few weeks. Please
allow a few days for any mail, e-mail and telephone messages to be responded
to. Meeting start times changed Please note that the full council meetings,
normally on the last Wednesday of each month, will now start at 7.45pm. The mid-month meetings of the Amenities
committee (when held) will start at 7.30pm.
Mid-month Planning committee meetings will start at 7.30pm except when
preceded by an Amenities committee meeting, in which case they will follow
immediately afterwards. The Finance
meetings will remain at a 7.15pm start. The reason is that the volume of business has
increased, causing very late finishing times.
The earlier start should enable a reasonable finishing time. Postal address change Please note that our
