STOP PRESS. THERE WILL BE AN ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE QUAYSIDERS HELD IN THE UPSTAIRS STUDIO AT THE SEAGULL THEATRE, MORTON ROAD, LOWESTOFT, ON MONDAY 12TH OCTOBER AT 8.00 P.M. WHEN THE FUTURE OF THE QUAYSIDERS WILL BE DISCUSSED. PLEASE DO MAKE AN EFFORT TO ATTEND.
The Quaysiders (known as the Q's) is an amateur dramatic group based in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Until the end of March 2009 we were meeting on Thursday evenings at The Links Club, Links Road, Lowestoft at 7.30 p.m. - at the moment, July 2009, we are meeting on an ad hoc basis at The Seagull for the foreseeable future until our next production in the spring of 2010 is finalised. Our production of Pygmalion was very well received and we are now looking forward to our next production in the spring of 2010 - a decision has yet to be made as to which play we shall be doing.

Our Annual General Meeting took place in October 2008 at the Links Club, Links Road, Lowestoft, when subscriptions became due, and a Chairman and Committee were elected. These meet approximately once a month. At the moment our Chairperson is Keith Osmond, our Secretary Julie Kent and our Treasurer Di Bettinson. If any members would be interested in joining the committee please contact the secretary for details..
Would you like to join us? The annual subscription is Ł25; and Ł2 for every time you come to a rehearsal or social event, but this covers refreshments, - a choice of tea or coffee and biscuits. You don't have to act, there are backstage jobs galore - all you need is enthusiasm. Any age or sex is welcome (we do have a lower age limit I'm afraid)
