Passport/ID Photography

“It's only a passport photograph”..... words heard hundreds of times, but why?  It is not a requirement for you to look like a criminal or one of the ‘undead’ on your ID. 

Our ID photographs utilise the same professional lighting as our portrait sittings.  Our aim is to make you look as good in your passport as Government regulations allow.  You don't have to sit in a photo-booth gritting your teeth, waiting for the flash and then having that all-embarrassing moment when your pictures drop out of the slot, only to have them rejected by the Passport Office.  The regulations for passport photographs are stringent and it has been said that at one point, up to 80% of photographs were being rejected.*

You can be photographed in the warmth and comfort of our studio, with a friendly, personal service.   We are conversant with the current regulations and a few other rules that the Passport Office don't publish!!  We also guarantee that the photographs will be accepted or we will retake them free of charge (terms & conditions apply).

Our standard passport/ID photograph service is not only approved for British/European passports but for visas (most countries), driving licences, firearms and disabled-permit (blue badge) applications.  They are also suitable for health club ID, student-union cards, railcards, bus-passes and many other applications which require photographs.  

Many parents are having difficulties obtaining ID photographs of babies and young children which meet the current UK passport requirements. We can supply these, but please ring for an appointment.  They normally take about an hour to produce for you.

We also provide colour photographs for the USA, Canada and other countries, for passports and visa applications but please ring for an appointment for these also.  Please bring your application form with the up to date specifications for your photographs with you as some countries are notorious for changing their photograph requirements without notice.  One country in particular decided to bring in regulations which were geometrically impossible to achieve.  Thankfully after an 18 month fight they have seen the error of their ways!!

Our normal (EU) service supplies a block of 4 colour photographs while you wait and costs £4.95 per block per person.

USA/Canadian & other countries (normally 2 colour photographs) £7.95 per pair (normally one hour service)
