FORTHCOMING EVENTS

2012.

March 31. Recording session at Weymouth Bay Methodist Church. 10am-12.30. Eternal Father, Gustavus, Rolling Home and probably Sailor. You will need to know the words and music from memory.

May 12. We are singing at a memorial service at Corscombe burial ground. Very beautiful place. The service begins at 2pm and we will need to be there a bit beforehand for a rehearsal. That morning's workshop may need to start and finish a bit earlier than usual.

July 18. Wednesday. Joint concerts with Jan Griffith's pupils at Conifers School in the afternoon and evening.

July 22. Sunday. Hilary Foggo's birthday party at Greenhill gardens.

Olympic fortnight is as yet vague but will include some busking.

Sept. 2. Sunday. Daytime rehearsal, early evening open workshop, evening concert in the ICCI dome outside the Pavilion. We will be surrounded by film of underwater life.

Sept. 8. Joint concert with the Gasworks Singers from Bristol. 7.30 at Weymouth Bay Methodist Church.

Workshop with the members of a friendship club for people with learning difficulties

24th September. Party! Given by Jenny Parsons at Upwey & Broadwey Memorial Hall...7pm-11pm.Bring and Share supper with ceilidh to celebrate a milestone birthday!

Visit from Holzwickede teenage choir. 19 - 22nd September with concert on the Tuesday at Weymouth Bay Methodist Church.

Bridport Hat Festival - 17th September.Mass photo at 12.30pm in Bucky Doo Square + we will probably be in Millenium Green later.

28th July. Wedding at St. Marks Church.Wallisdown Rd.(opposite Bournemouth University),Bournemouth.
Rehearsal 11.30am - 12.30pm Wedding at 1.00pm.Parking in St. Marks Infant School - connected by footpath.

2nd July. Concert at Litten Cheney Village Hall.
Rehearsal 6 - 7pm Concert 7.30pm.

25th June. Concert at St Mary's Middle School,Puddletown. Rehearsal 6 - 7pm Concert 7.30pm.

18th June. Wedding at Moreton Church(Lizzie Lucas' daughter Hannah and Mike).
Rehearsal 1.00pm - 2.00pm Wedding at 2.00pm.

11th June. Festival of the Voice at Stourhead gardens,Stourton.
2 sessions 12noon - 12.20 and 1.00 - 1.20pm in the visitor reception courtyard.
Whole day starts at 11.00am until 5pm.There will be opportunity to see
around the gardens and listen to other groups singing.

9th April. Concert at St Mary's Church. Dorchester.

27th December 2010 Christmas Concert at The United Church,South Street,Dorchester. Rehearsal 6pm.Concert starts 7.30pm

20th November- Community choirs afternoon of workshops led by Sammy Hurden, Su Lewis, Geof Edge and Kathgie prince, followed by concert with all the choirs performing a couple of songs each. Charlton Down Ballroom.

October 16 Concert. Hope Church, Weymouth. 7.30 pm with reheasal at 6 pm.

September 9th (Thursday) Wedding at All Saints Church,Easton,Portland. 1.30pm.Rehearsal 12.00 Mid Day

July 31st Wedding,Wyke Regis 12.00 Mid Day.Rehearsal 10.30am.

July 17 Rehearsal Radipole School at usual time. Tolpuddle Martyrs festival, short performance in main tent at 3pm(ish)

July 10 Concert at Maiden Newton in the village hall at 7.30 pm with reheasal beforehand.

Free but donations would be very welcome. (Bring your own drinks.) 4-5.30. Workshop led by Northern Harmony (American choir) 5.30-7. Bring and Share supper. 7pm Concert from Northern Harmony.
