Swanage seen from Godlingston Hill, August
2009.
On this occasion, I walked along the ridge from Corfe Castle to Swanage and then travelled up the valley on the
Swanage Railway's informal Friday night dining service, the Wessex Belle Bistro, alighting at Corfe Castle. |

This is Harman's Cross station as seen from
the above-mentioned Bistro service on 27th May 2011..... with steam haulage
as a bonus!
With meals priced at no more than what you would pay in a pub, plus six pounds for the train, this is a very special
yet highly affordable experience.

Another view from the above Bistro dining service..... the outline of Corfe Castle.

A crowded Swanage Beach seen from Ballard
Down on 26th August 2007.
A bit grainy owing to being cropped out at 100% resolution due to my limited zoom. |

Looking east from Ballard Down towards the
Isle of Wight on 26th August 2007.
Taken upon seeing an opportunity for an entry to the September photo competition on the Fujifilm website. The theme
was 'fall' and the use of full 3x zoom makes it look as though the cyclists are about to go for a swim! |
