Not all breeders will be able to offer all that is required. If they have not been in the breed for too long then they may not be familiar with certain breed health problems, training , feeding , socialisation and induction issues. That in itself should not put you off. They should be able to put you in touch with people who can help. If they are actively involved in the breed they will care enough to help you to overcome any problems that arise.

When you go to collect your puppy, not before 7 weeks of age, preferably 8 weeks, check certain details with your breeder. You should expect to receive with your puppy , Registration Documents, a Pedigree at least 4 but hopefully 5 generation, details of when the puppy was wormed. Puppies would normally be wormed three times at 8 weeks of age, twice should not be a problem as some puppies do not deal well with worming. It could be that the first worming was missed for that reason. Your breeder will advise you when next to worm your puppy. They will advise you about inoculation and when your puppy should receive their vaccination. The first six weeks insurance is usually provided free in case anything should accidentally befall your puppy during this period.
