ACTION LETTER - TEACHERS
If your child is in school, please could you write to your child's
headteacher and to the LEA along the lines of the letter below. If your
child is known to be home educated, could you write to your LEA?
Please do feel free to ask other parents to do the same!

I understand that the Children Bill currently before Parliament will
give the government the power to compel you to share confidential
information about me and my children with other agencies, and could
empower them to demand that my child's education records are placed on a
central database. This would all be done without our knowledge and
refusal to co-operate would be an offence.
I wonder if you are aware of these proposals and would appreciate your
comments.
