• Let us know if any young person is detained by police officers for suspected truancy when there is no authorised truancy sweep in operation
  

• If any parent of a registered pupil is intimidated with threats of imprisonment for truancy, we would like to hear about it
  

• If you home educate and experience difficulties with truancy sweeps or 'Truancy Watch' schemes please send us details

20/06/03 Truancy sweep guidelines are being ignored {ARCH member}

A sweep being carried out in Milton Keynes today blatantly ignored the guidelines issued to the police by persistently demanding the names and address of Home Ed family.  Notification of the incident has been submitted to the Thames Valley Polices and MK LEA.    Watch out for update on this.
