The International Wine & Food Society is a non profit making organisation, founded
in 1933, with the aim of raising the standard of selection, preparation and service
of good food and wine. We have over 7,000 members in 150 branches world-
THE CAPITAL BRANCH is committed to banishing wine snobbery, the emphasis is very much on value for money, friendly and informative gatherings. Dinners, tasting's, experiments in food and wine matching, comparing home produced and convenience foods, and many other interesting and unusual events. The Society also looks at food scares and health issues from an independent viewpoint. We visit restaurants, catering colleges, food manufacturing establishments and vineyards to widen our knowledge of production processes.
