Our PEBBLE POOL to the right of the altar acts as a focus for prayer in small groups, as well as privately for individuals.

Community Prayer Requests asking for particular people or situations to be remembered in the prayers of the church are welcomed.

 

‘Prayer Request’ should be included in the subject line of the e-mail.

Services

Below is the usual pattern of worship but it does vary at certain times of the year such as Easter and Christmas. The entrance hall notice board or our Sunday notice sheet gives details of our services especially for those during Lent, Holy Week, Easter and Christmas when there are different services and activities at varying times.

Sundays

8.00 am   Holy Communion (said)

9.30 am   Parish Eucharist

6.00 pm   Evening Prayer (varies weekly, see notices)

 

Second Sunday of the month

9.30 am   All Age Family service

6.00 pm   Taizé style evening

 

Wednesdays - 2nd, 4th and 5th of the month

8.00 pm   Simple Eucharist, Iona style

 

Thursdays

12 noon   Holy Communion (BCP)

 

During the Sunday service there is Worship in the Hall (WitH) with age-specific activities for 3 year olds and up. Younger children are welcome with their parents. WitH follows the same readings as in church but with a multi-sensory approach. We all start in church at 9.30 and return to share Communion together.

Double Vision (10-12 year olds) in the Quiet Room

Teenagers (year 9 and up) meet fortnightly, in a local home, to share faith and food on Thursdays at 5.45 pm.
