    This system has been adopted because it allows subscribers to update their email addresses directly and to unsubscribe directly.  We do not plan to distribute large volumes of information.  An archive of the information distributed is also held on the email list server.

    After initiating this email distribution list I discovered that with the free version, during subscription a number of web adverts that are very dominating appear.  I recommend that you close any windows with such adds and do not investigate them.  If it transpires the service operators description of a one small advertisement at the foot of each distribution is not accurate and there is sufficient interest in the service I will seek to either upgrade the service or move it elsewhere.  In the meantime I ask for your forbearance.   If the dominating advertisements are only associated with subscription I hope that we will be able to tolerate that for the financial benefit of a free service.
