The taxonomy of Hieracium underwent significant change based on redetermination of the large Hieracium collection at Cambridge (Sell & Murell, 2006). I am indebted to David McCosh for redetermining the twelve Raasay Hieracium specimens held at ABD

In the following accounts “sens. lat.” has been added where a species has recently been split but the identity of the Raasay record in this context remains unknown.
