EEMUA has a wide ranging interest in European and International Standardisation.

EEMUA is a member of BSI committee PSE/17.   EEMUA members provide resources for a technical expert in rotating equipment to provide user input to many of the ISO machinery standards (via BSI MCE committees) and to liaise with the API CRE.

EEMUA's ECUI (European Committee of User Inspectorates) is recognised by the European Commission to put forward the issues relevant to the Users of equipment and materials.  especially on technical matters related to European Directives such as the PED (Pressure Equipment Directive).
