Focus List (1998 - 2000)
In 1997, with little apparent progress being made in completing publications, TC67 decided to focus on approximately 25 documents, and to follow their situation closely in order to understand the problems and to identify the solutions. An individual member of TC67/AG3 was assigned to "follow" each document and to offer assistance to the Project Leader as needed.
This initiative was successful both in progressing the documents (see chart below; a learning was that achieving >50% of plan is a good performance) and in identifying solutions for the remainder of the work programme. Accordingly from January 2000 the "Focus List" process was subsumed into the overall Management Plan process.
