The new 2007 season will soon be upon us. The Fixture List is now complete and you can view it on the appropriate page.

The close season Get Together takes place on Saturday 3rd March at The South-Western. Brian is in charge and will be providing one of his infamous quizzes - no property prices this year please Brian!

The Annual Registration Evening is on Tuesday 3 April from 7.00pm. Come along and catch up with your friends, pay your subs, commit yourself to the annual competitions and sign up for the first few matches.

On 14 April there is the annual Spring Clean. We are fortunate that Lesley keeps us spick and span during the season but an effort must be made to ensure that the Clubhouse is a welcoming place for our guests. Please come along and give a hand - it is your Club and we do need to keep it looking as spruce as possible considering the type of building we have. This year the internal walls will need a wash down and maybe a coat of emulsion. The ceilings likewise. There is rubbish to dispose of, all the crockery to be washed and dried together with the cutlery, the chairs and tables to be washed down ....and probably some other jobs too.

Don't forget that the Boot Inn Singles is on Saturday 5 May. Yes we will all need a bit of a roll up prior to that so keep your eyes open for the notices announcing the Green Opening.

This year the automatic watering system will be in full operation so it is to be hoped that our green will be somewhat greener than of late. However we must remember that we do have other problems which the greenkeepers are gradually eliminating but the powers that be have said it will be a few years before it is all eradicated - please bear with them.

On Saturday 18 August we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary with an up-market BBQ. This will follow the Tisbury Pairs and it is hope that as many Club members as possible will take part in the competition and then join in the BBQ. However if you can't make the game you can still attend the BBQ and vice-versa. Further details will reach you in due course - but book this date!
